ONLINE bookmaker sportsbet.com.au believe smart Perth sprinter Barakey can remain unbeaten in Saturday’s Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot.

Perth’s budding Black Caviar has opened as the $2.15 favourite to extend his unbeaten career run to 11 in the Group 1 sprint.

Another local Travinator is $4.80 second favourite ahead of eastern invader Hallowell Belle $6.00 and Power Princess at $7.50.

“This race has some quality horseflesh but it looks made to order for Barakey.  He’s been super impressive in his two wins this prep, loves the track and is a budding superstar,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

“Travinator is sure to come in for support, especially with Glen Boss on board, but is a query beyond 1100m.”

Another local, Luckygray, is $4.20 favourite for Ascot’s other major, the Railway Stakes. The powerful Gai Waterhouse Nash Rawiller combination will attack the Group 1 with Epsom winner Fat Al ($12).
