DATO TAN CHIN NAM WIN EARNS BALLOT EXEMPTION

THE brilliant win by Whobegotyou in the Group 2 Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes at Moonee Valley last Saturday has earned him an exemption from the 2009 BMW Caulfield Cup ballot.

The champion four-year-old is the only horse aside from the Danny O’Brien-trained Vigor, winner of the G2 Makybe Diva Stakes, to be awarded this privilege to date.

The winner of both the G1 Rokk Ebony Underwood Stakes (1800m) and the G3Naturalism Stakes (2000m) at Caulfield this Saturday will also gain exemption into the Caulfield Cup.
