MELITO THE BIGGEST ‘GO’ IN THE FEATURE RACES

THE Gerald Ryan-trained MELITO has been one of the best backed runners in Fixed Odds betting for the feature races in Sydney and Melbourne on Saturday firming sharply for the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes at Rosehill.

There have been several big wagers on Melito, an impressive winner of the Furious Stakes at her latest start. She has firmed from $3 to $2.60 with that support forcing the price of early favorite, More Joyous, to ease from $1.90 to $2.10.

Chelmsford winner, O’Lonhro, has been well backed to repeat the effort in the Group 2 Shannon Stakes at Rosehill, firming from $2.60 to $2.50. Next best in early markets are Rangirangdoo ($3.40), Strat’s Flyer ($5) and Drumbeats ($5.50).
