THIS Friday’s Twilight meeting at Moonee Valley will see potential superstar and boom colt We’re Gonna Rock run in the Clayton RSL Handicap scheduled to jump at 5.45pm.

In only his second career start, the Kavanagh trained We’re Gonna Rock  is Guineas bound  after his exciting debut where he trounced short-priced favourite and promising galloper Marconi.

After bombing the start, We’re Gonna Rock reeled off an incredible final sectional to claim victory by over a length.

A son of multiple Group 1 speedster Fastnet Rock, We’re Gonna Rock sold for $180,000 at the 2008 Inglis Easter Sale purchased by now trainer Mark Kavanagh.

The colt is estimated to be worth $10 million but if the flashy colt wins the Guineas his current value would sky rocket to an expected $40 million.

The race meeting for this Friday 5th February has been re-scheduled from a Night meeting to a Twilight meeting.

The change in starting time has arisen from extensive cockatoo damage to cabling connecting lighting on up to half of the 60 plus lighting towers.
