THE countdown begins for the first two-year-old race in Australasia; the Brisbane Bloodstock Hopeful Plate, which will be hosted at Clifford Park on Saturday 22nd September 2012.
This year’s event has a new naming sponsor in Brisbane Bloodstock. Col Richards, owner of Brisbane Bloodstock, is delighted in becoming the new sponsor of the Hopeful Plate.
Col remarked, “The first two year old race of the season is always a very exciting race and being the major sponsor is a fantastic opportunity”.
Col Richards has moved quickly and has allocated a $10,000 bonus on the Hopeful Plate for horses purchased at his Brisbane Bloodstock sales.

With prize money totaling $75,000, the two-year-old, 1000 meter sprint is always a hotly contested great race and The Brisbane Bloodstock Hopeful Plate will also showcase the new seasons racing talent.
