LGHR recently learnt that one of Queensland most respected broadcasters for more than 30 years is just as popular in semi-retirement as when he was in his working heydey.
GREY CARY, who quit radio in 2013 to focus on writing, hosted a current affairs program that was networked across Queensland and helped shape opinion on a variety of issues.
For a decade, he was a regular member of the Sunrise program on the Seven Network where his friendly and considered approach to all subject matter drew a wide audience.
His memoir, An Absence Of Certainty, sold well internationally and he has since written three books – A Fascinating Investigation (into the murder of shock-jock Big Ed Bradley), A Colour of Blue and the newly-released The Dream Weaver. These are mysteries set in Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Northern Rivers.
Greg now does daily (Monday to Friday) commentaries on his YouTube channel, ‘A View From The Mountain’, (@greg_cary) and his website, www.gregcary.com.
