WHEN will the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission finally realise that the ‘Everywhere Man of the Stewards’ Panel’ should have been dumped long ago? How many lives does a ‘steward cat’ have?
Archie Butterfly posed the question on his subscriber-only website, www.peterprofit.com, recently: ‘Which prominent Far North Queensland racehorse trainer was recently spotted by a vet about to needle his horse before a well-paying country race meeting? And who was the steward that did nothing about it when the matter was reported to him.’
The number of e-mails that LGHR receives bagging the job that this bloke does and accusing him of seemingly refusing to ask questions of horses owned by a major owner in certain stables are endless. We remember when he couldn’t get a full-time job as a steward way back when but managed to sneak in the back door, some say because of the internal work he did when the ‘Good Doctor’ was running the RQ Integrity show.’
