THE Racing Queensland Limited (RQL) Board today (Wednesday) resolved to amend the manner in which a betting market is assessed for the purpose of distribution through the Australian Prices Network.

For all Saturday metropolitan race meetings, the betting market to be distributed through the Australian Prices Network will be assessed with reference to both on-course bookmakers and other licensed wagering operators.

The licensed wagering operators included for the purposes of assessing a betting market for distribution, will be selected on the basis of their turnover on Queensland thoroughbred events.

RQL has made this decision in observance of the altering wagering landscape and believe this amendment will provide a more accurate guide of the betting activity on Queensland thoroughbred events.
